Twelve-Step Back to Work Program

Currently operating in Humphreys County, Tennessee, the No More Tears Recovery, Inc. Twelve-Step Back to Work Program gives our residences a chance to adjust their lives to sobriety in the real world within a supportive environment. Our residents do service work in the community, such as Second Harvest Food Bank. They also attend both church every Sunday in Waverly and Life Recovery in Waverly. Both of these activities are mandatory for all of our residents. Our residents are required to get a sponsor and work either a faith-based or traditional A.A. or N.A. program. We charge $500 to move in initially, which covers the cost of drug testing throughout the duration of a client's stay in our program, food (provided in-house), gas for transportation, and the first week's rent. Rent is $250 a week. We provide transportation to and from work every day, and we help our residents find employment quickly. If a potential client is unable to pay this initial fee, we are able to make arrangements to help with the cost. We work with people in all types of financial situations. However, passes are not granted to those who are behind on rent. We house our residents, transport them to and from work, take them to outside A.A. and N.A. meetings, and hold in-house meetings. We also provide classes on financial responsibility. Our residents’s paychecks are made out to them. We do not hold their money for them.
